The battery is based on AGM technology, which means that the electrolyte is absorbed in a fiberglass separator, which prevents its leakage. What are AGM batteries?
AGM batteries are a type of lead-acid battery with high energy density. AGMs are sealed batteries in which the electrolyte is embedded in glass mat separators. This makes them safe and long-lasting and more durable than other types of lead-acid batteries. They also require no maintenance.
Cyclic operation
The cyclic use of the battery is to use it as a stand-alone power source. AGMs of this type are prepared for very frequent charging and discharging. Thus, they are used in wheelchairs, photovoltaic installations, golf carts, toys and lawnmowers.
Buffer operation
Buffer operation allows a battery to act as a backup power supply for a plugged-in device. A battery connected to a power system in the event of a failure of the main power source provides additional power. They are used in this way in alarm systems, UPSs, cash registers or emergency lighting.
Maintenance-free operation
